2024 Georgetown Run-A-Thon huge success!
The 2024 Georgetown Cross Country Run-A-Thon was held on July 26, 2024. Thousands of dollars were raised in pledges and donations during the annual event! Will Haus raised the most money this year. Mileage leaders for each group this year included Lizzy Cahall, Lydia Klump, Xavier Wellerding, Gabe Klump and McKella Housh. Thank you to everyone who helped, participated and donated to the event!
2024 Youth Running Camp News!
The 2024 Vern Hawkins Youth Summer Running Camp was June 17-20, 2024. Campers played games and learned about a healthy lifestyle. The highlights of the week were a one mile race and nightly motivational talks by guest speakers. Thank you to all the high school students, coaches, sponsors and parents who helped with the camp this year. We are excited and already planning for the June 2025 youth running camp!
Georgetown CC at League Banquet!
The SBAAC Fall Sports banquet was held 11/8/23 in Hamersville. The Lady G-Men were presented their SBAAC National Division championship trophy. League first team All Star Awards were presented to Lydia Klump, Lizzy Cahall and Jacob Faught. Coach McHenry was presented the Coach of the Year Award. 2023 was a great season!
Lady Gmen and Faught Advance to Regionals!
Jacob Faught and the Georgetown CC girls team both qualified for the OHSAA Regional Championship Race in Troy, Ohio, at the District meet on 10/21/23. Congratulations and good luck at Regionals!
Lady Gmen CC team league champs!
The Georgetown High School ladies CC team finished first place in the National Division league race in Wilmington on 10/14/23. They were named the 2023 SBAAC National Division Champions! Great job team!
Gtown Junior High CC teams compete at OHSSA State Meet!
The Georgetown Jr High CC teams competed at the OHSAA State CC Meet on 10/22/23 at Obetz! Allie Tolle capped off her amazing season with a 4th place finish in her race! Jade Osman, Gabe Klump and Logan Becraft also recieved medals!
2023 SBAAC League All Stars Announced!
The SBAAC announced the National Division League All Stars after the League Meet on 10/14/23. The Georgetown First Team All stars for 2023 were Lizzy Cahall, Lydia Klump and Jacob Faught. The Second Team All Stars were Ariel Riddle, Autumn Sanders and Gemma Burrows. Congratulations runners!
