
The SBAAC Fall Sports banquet was held 11/5/25 in Hamersville. The Georgetown 2025 SBAAC League first team All Star Awards for Cross Country were presented to Lydia Klump, Allie Tolle, Jade Osman, Logan Becraft and Gabe Klump. Mason Watson was also named a second team All Star this year. Great job everyone on a great season!

Allie Tolle became the first Georgetown cross country female freshman and only the third ever female to advance to the OHSAA State Championship on 11/1/2025. She finished with a time of 20:18 and 68th place out of 214 runners. Great job Allie!

The new Georgetown Cross Country Trail sign to honor the legendary Coach Hawkins was installed on 11/6/25. This project was funded by both the Georgetown Cross Country team and the Georgetown Athletic Boosters. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!

Lydia Klump, Allie Tolle and the Georgetown Boys team competed at the OHSAA Regional Championships on 10/25/2025 after qualifying at the district meet on 10/18/2025. At the regional race in Troy, Allie Tolle advanced to the State Championship Meet!

Georgetown Cross Country freshman Allie Tolle broke the Georgetown Cross Country 5K record with a time of 19:31 at the CHCA Fall Classic meet at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio on 9/30/25. The previous record of 19:46 set in 2021 was held by Georgetown legend Savannah Faught. Faught congratulated Tolle on her achievement!

The 2025 Georgetown Cross Country Run-A-Thon was held on July 25,2025. This year over $3,000 dollars were raised in pledges and donations! For a second year in a row, Will Haus raised the most money. Mileage leaders for each group this year included Ella Loudon, Anna MacQuarrie, Lydia Klump, Will Haus, and Mason Watson. Thank you to everyone who helped, participated and donated to the event!

The 2025 Vern Hawkins Youth Summer Running Camp was June 16-19,2025. Over 30 athletes from 2 different school districts attended. Campers played games and learned about a healthy lifestyle. The highlights of the week were a one mile race and nightly motivational talks by guest speakers. Thank you to all the high school students, coaches, sponsors and parents who helped with the camp this year. We are excited and already planning for the June 2026 youth running camp!
