2019 Cross Country Senior Night

 Georgetown High School celebrated the cross country team Senior Night on October 11, 2019 at the last home soccer game. The 2019 Seniors are Wes Sweet, Anthony Carrington, Katlin Colwell, Allyson McHenry, Cody Graves, Diana Stanze and Cameron Cluxton.  They will all be deeply missed next year.


2019 SBAAC League Junior High Champions!

The Georgetown Junior High Boys team finished 1st place at the league meet 10/12/19. They were presented with the League Championship trophy after the race.  Trevor Ellis finished 1st place in the race. Great job boys! All of your hard work this summer paid off.  We are all extremely proud of you!


High School Girls Advance to Regionals

The Georgetown High School girls cross country team placed 4th as a team at the Southwest Ohio District Championship Tournament in West Chester on October 20, 2018.  With the 4th place finish, the team advanced to the Regional Championship Tournament in Troy, Ohio on October 27, 2018.

2019 Georgetown Run-A-Thon

2019 Run-A-Thon was held 8/16/19

The 2019 Run-A-Thon saw past records fall and over $1,500.00 was raised for the program.  Savannah Faught set a new miles record after running 23.5 miles at the Run-A-Thon breaking the old record of 18.25 set By Finn Tomlin in 2017.  Ethan Thomas led the High School boys with 21 miles. Alexis Corbin ran 13.25 miles and Caleb Jones ran 16 miles as the Jr High leaders.  A total of 353 miles were ran this year at the event! 


2019 Vern Hawkins Summer Youth Camp a Success!

The Georgetown CC program held its second annual summer youth running camp the first week of June.  Campers enjoyed a variety speakers covering multiple topics related to running, health and fitness.  They also participated in running activities and games. Thank you to our camp sponsors and volunteers who made the camp a huge success!  We are excited to host the camp again in 2020! 

Tanner Ellis

Ellis and Tomlin Both Sign to Run at the Collegiate Level

Georgetown senior Tanner Ellis signed his letter of intent to attend and run Cross Country and Track at Thomas More University on April 18, 2019.  Senior Finn Tomlin previously signed his letter of intent to attend and run Cross Country and Track at the University of Rio Grande.  Both Seniors have had outstanding High School careers and will be missed next year.  Please come out and support all of our seniors for the remainder of the High School Track season.
